Work History

• Growing Turf Grass for the last 30 years. I have succeeded in reducing the unit costs and spurred growth in volumes. This made Turf Grass more affordable for the user

• Largest producer of Turf Grass in India. Introduced ready-made Turf to Pune and Mumbai Markets in 1995.

• Continuing to work on innovation and introduce latest techniques for maximizing quality, volumes and ease of planting.

• Ongoing research and testing on various options to match different customer requirements as per the ground situation. This has resulted in the customers having a choice between 10 varieties of Turf Grass.

• Worked successfully on evolving labour replacement systems by crop, canopy chemical & weed escape technology design to manage labour cost & availability per unit produce. Thus ensured lower production & maintenance costs.

• Researched, designed water management systems to match the cropping requirements. Continuing to evolve the processes and technology to take advantage of free rainfall of high quality water every year to ensure its optimum utilization

• Experience of managing integrated soil quality, handling pest and weed management practices, determining fertilizer and other nutrients formulations to optimize crop quality, volume and production for vegetables, Turf Grass, shrubs, trees and other plants.

• Decades of experience includes handling complete crop cycles, ongoing innovations to improve on tonnage and quality of crops.

• Expertise in suggesting water management solutions for farm lands, sports playgrounds, lawns based on topography.

• Working on processes to convert waste to wealth in solid urban & industrial wastes.

• Expertize of integrated management of infrastructure for crop cycles including equipment, machinery, soil, water, labour, pesticides, weedicides, fertilizers.

• Expertise and experience of processing and shipping Turf across India.

• Years of experience as curator for various national and international games featuring football and cricket.

• Experience in marketing, sales and delivering various crops across India. Can handle multiple teams at multiple locations. Extensive networking skills across industries.

Achievements

• Sand based Turf growing and laying. Our lawn production process today is one of the highest carbon fixers in the world (per unit area)

• Currently researching on multi-tiered Farming

• Installed a FIFA-standard football ground atop a multi-story parking lot of at Trans Stadia stadium, Ahmedabad

• Commonwealth Games 2010
  Replaced entire Turf in 20 hours after the opening ceremony

• Recipient of accolades from the Govt. of AP for growing quality varieties of brinjal, Tomato, Cabbage, Cauliflower and Capsicum

• 1993 - Turf Grass Production: Started in Hyderabad for the first and captured 80% of market share in the city of Hyderabad and was primary supplier through Pune Mumbai Goa market
